We have been waiting and waiting this week for my little brother's mission call to come. It finally came today and with all the guessing and betting where he was going to go I don't think any of us would have ever guessed this one!! GHANA!!!! Where is it that you ask? AFRICA!!! I am so excited for him!!! I know he will be a wonderful missionary especially to the people in Ghana. Boy will he have stories to tell..... Congratulations Kirk! We are so happy and proud of you for choosing to go on a mission! I wonder how much postage is going to cost.....

The Ghana Flag
He will get to see some of these......

and these.....

Ooooh, and maybe some of these....
My guess is most missionaries don't come home with many love interests.....
Did I mention he has a twin brother? Hurry up Michael! I'm even more excited to see where you are going now!!!!

Thats awesome!! Shane Dalling went to Africa too. I think that would be a great place to serve...well, that lady looks a little scary but I'm sure he'll love it!
I'm going to be the lame brother who goes to Utah, or worse. The St. Anthony Family History center.
Haha but Africa is sooooo cool, I am a little bit jealous!
Dang! Ghana? Really? That is awesome. I have a friend who worked over in Ghana while the temple was being built and he said it was incredible. I think Kirk will come back a changed man.
Michael, if you go to Utah, don't feel bad. At least if you get sick you know you'll have adequate medical care! Haha -- just kidding. Your mom would probably be upset if she heard someone say that.
SO AWESOME!!! I'm so glad he's going on a mission... he will have some interesting experiences, and I'm looking forward to hearing about them all! Can't wait to see where MIchael gets called! I just love those boys!
YAY!!! My grandparents served in Accra Ghana (the capitol). They have so many amazing stories. The people there are just wonderful (from what I hear).
