Our Trip to Vegas!

Dean and I got to go to Las Vegas this week. Dean had to go for the Western Veterinary Conference to finish getting his continued education credits, so part of the trip was paid for, and I got to tag along. I honestly didn't think I was going to make it, I was so worried about leaving my kids. Dean figured that the pain in my belly button was an ulcer I'd given myself because I was so stressed out. I've never left Kayden and only left Ryman and Brylie once for 1 or 2 nights before. We took them to my parents house on Saturday and we left Sunday and came back Thursday. That was a long time to leave my babies!! I don't think I cried too much, but Dean would probably argue with that. They loved hanging out with both sets of grandparents and lots of uncles, aunts, and even a few cousins. Honestly, I don't think they were all that excited to see us yesterday, but I guess that means they were well cared for which makes me feel good. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of them, I really appreciate it!
Dean spent most of Monday and Tuesday and half of Wednesday in class, so when we could we did some sight seeing and got to see a few shows. We got to go with Jed & Sharmy (used to work with Dean and good friends) and Trevor & Jody (Dean's partner and also good friends). It made it even more fun to share some of our trip with them. At least Sharmy and I could keep each other company while our hubbies were in class.

The amazing lights of the strip at night.

Had to make a stop at the M&M store!

Visiting the shark reef in our hotel, Mandalay Bay. Very cool!

The fountains at the Bellagio, if you haven't been there, the fountains dance to music- we watched it several times, Amazing!!

The conference paid for a show by Bill Cosby, if you look close you can see him on the stage. He was hilarious!

Dean and I both agreed that the best part of the trip was our last night there. We went to the show "O". INCREDIBLE!!! Worth every penny! This is outside the theater. I could talk about it for hours! It was my second time seeing it, but there was so much I didn't remember. Jed and Sharmy came with us.
We also went to the Tournament of Kings in the Excalibur hotel. I didn't get any pictures there, but you sit around a big arena and watch the Kings from different countries have different competitions like jousting. Very cool. The whole trip was a lot of fun. Thanks honey for making, I mean taking me along! :)
