Don't mind this post... I'm just trying to rid myself of some frustration! First of all, that little pregnancy ticker is driving me crazy! I love that it says, "only ... days to go". Whoever wrote that has not been pregnant before! ONLY?!!! Do they realize how long I have been waiting? It should say, "You STILL have... days to go!" Especially during those last few weeks when your last few brain cells are slowly slipping away to who knows where, causing you to do random acts of
forgetfulness. And how do I cope with the lack of brain function and anxiety of waiting for my still nameless little beauty to get here? I eat chocolate! Not just any chocolate! This happens to be the best time of year thanks to Easter candy and those beautiful
cadbury mini eggs.
Opened a bag up only to endure the worst heartburn ever! Told the
dr. yesterday of my concerns that I was getting it during the day now and not just at night... It's the chocolate!!! What?!!! Chocolate causing ill side effects? He must be crazy. But sure enough, no chocolate yesterday- no heartburn! But no worries... I "ONLY" have 20 days left!
(really I shouldn't be complaining... I feel great, and I have a very understanding husband who quietly smiles when he sees me putting small appliances in the refrigerator & has to jump my car because I left the key ever so slightly turned in the ignition)

You make me laugh! Hooray for only 20 days left! How exciting!!!! And by the way, I hear chocolate eating prego ladies have babies with lovely locks of hair. Ok, so thats just a rumor... but I like to think that all my chocolate went to some good during pregnancy. :)
You are so funny. I actually have never had heart burn before until now and I get it ALL day long and night, but for me its sugar not chocolate so maybe I should cut it out of my diet....or suffer. I'm not sure I'm willing to give that up yet. Glad to hear you're hanging in there. Let us know when you're little one arrives!
I love the candy of your choice...yes, heartburn hits me too if I eat too much chocolate. It's really not right!

Candria, i can totaly empathize with you! I've had my baby and I can't eat chocolate cuz it gives her MAJOR gas and diarrhea. No chocolate mini eggs for me, boo hoo. So yes curs-ed chocolate! good luck with the last 20days!
I can't blame you for eating the mini eggs, they're my favorite too. I stock up just so they last through easter.
You are so lucky to "only" have 20 days left! I am very envious of you! How is it that you have 20 days and I have over 60 and I am WAY bigger than you?! You need to eat TONS more chocolate, just so I can feel better about myself!! You're too funny!
P.S. I am currently experiencing lovely heartburn from apple sauce...how does that happen?!!
I thought you meant you only had 20 mini eggs left!! When my mom had heartburn, she said a bowl of sherbet with 7up cured it! Sometimes with bananas on it! Worth a try, right??
Haha I have 120 days to go. 120?! I feel like I have been pregnant forever. Sorry about the heartburn! I know the feeling all too well. And here's a confession, I ate 3 Cadbury cream filled eggs today. That's only like... oh 600 calories. AHH!!! And I am feeling the heartburn consequences already. Pepcid... here I come!
Ok, that HAD to have been Dr. Crandall that told you that. He has blamed problems I have had on chocolate before too! Don't listen to him!! The easter candy isle is very hard to miss I agree!!
Keep meaning to call you...did you teach the sunbeams about body's? Brayden keeps thanking Heavenly Father for his body at every prayer-it's really cute.
My doc told me the same thing when I had bad heartburn during my last trimester. I didn't care--I had to have my chocolate! They told me the same thing about breastfeeding, that if I did it I had to watch my chocolate intake or it would effect my baby. I didn't really listen to them then either. I like chocolate too much!
You can have my share of the chocolate!!! You're wonderful!!! You've waited a long time for this one...but it will be worth the wait!
Well I am glad you are still preggos. The other three due the same week as Me-already had their babies last week..so now I don't feel totally and completely alone in my largeness. So what does that make you due the 12? I am due the 15-but doc won't let me go past the 8th. I am still trying to remember how far apart Ryman and Whitney were..like a day or so right? Anyway so if this pair is like them..maybe you will have less time than you think. Good luck!!

No chocolate...as if it isn't hard enough already having to wait for delivery. Crossing my fingers that you don't make it all the way to your due date. Those eggs are worth the heartburn Candria!! Well, maybe not- pregnancy heartburn is the worst I agree!!
