Reading Books in the waiting room, even though there were a TON of toys!
Getting his spiffy new pajamas on, to go to sleep!
Waiting to go in for surgery, more toys, but we are reading books!
Here he is out of recovery with his own TV and snow cone, he could have cared less that we were there.
4 hours later, we are in the car, ready to go home! The nurse gave him chocolate pudding to take in the car and he had it eaten before we pulled out of the parking lot (hence the dirty mouth!)
Dad took us to Maddox for lunch on the way home. Here is the smile of a full tummy! And last but not least, we came home and within 5 minutes of being in the house, he climbed up on the counter. The kids and Dean's parents were waiting for us with balloons and an early birthday surprise for Kayden. We gave him his codeine pain meds, but apparently the chocolate cake counter-acted its effects, because we decided to go for a walk before bed.....
THIS IS LESS THEN 10 HOURS AFTER SURGERY!!!
Thanks Bleazards for the balloons!!

Glad he's doing just fine! :) Missed seeing you guys while I was there for Amy's wedding!
Way to go Kayden! And you were worried! That kid is amazing! I love the pictures of the pre-op! He just looks so excited and happy! I am glad that it went so well and that he is unfazed by everything that happened to him!!
Oh Kayden, he's so funny and so full of energy!!!
Cute kid. I'm glad things went well for you. I know how it feels to have a little one go in for surgery. At least he didn't have a huge cast on his arm that he used as a club. You can count that as a blessing!
I'm glad he's doing okay and that it ended up not being major!
I'm also SO sorry we didn't get to see you while you were in Utah. I figured you probably didn't want us getting your kids sick. Next time I'm in Utah I am driving up to Idaho just to see you!
Wow, he sure doesn't let anything slow him down! What a cutie, and glad all went well. Hil and I are planning to swing by and see you mid-August. More details later. :)
What a trooper! I just love that kid. Glad everything went well! Give him kisses for us!
Way to go Kayden!
And yes....we totally want to swing by...just hammering out the details of when we'll be there. We miss you!
Wow! What a trooper! Glad to hear everything went good and give him hugs from the Greenwoods for a speedy recovery :) Oh wait- looks like that is already happening! Hope you guys are doing well- we miss ya!
I'm glad that everything went well! The poor nurse...trying to be kid-friendly, and a nurse here ruined it for her. :)
Love you guys!
What a Cutie!
You could have a blog strictly for the adventures of Kayden. He looked like he had an exciting day.
What a tough cookie! So glad things went so well, those moments really bring life into check on what's important. You two are great parents.
